This is the story of the Temple. An attempt of fulfillment of a particular commision made in 1904, but never finalized in the life of the artist, receiver of the assignment.
We sat in Marias livingroom and talked about the meaning of abstract art. Maria was often bored by modernism. I said, “there can be a story even in this so called non figurative art. Have you ever heard about Hilma af Klint and the paintings for the Temple?”

She asked about where this temple of art could be, but of course it did not exist. So then, Maria said: “We must build the Temple!”
This happend one beautiful spring day 2011 in Göteborg, Sweden. And that day we made a comitment to this project and have been working on the idea ever since.
I guess we must believe Picassos words:
“Everything you can imagine is real.“
